Creighton Leptak, Jr. has been called to ministry at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Crossroads. His Rite of Ordination and Installation was held at the church on August 12th. The Reverend William Gafkjen, Bishop of the Indiana-Kentucky Mission Territory presided over the services. A large contingent of clergy from southeastern Indiana attended the event along with Leptak’s family, friends and members of the congregation. (You can find photos under “Photo Sets.”)
Pastor Leptak, Jr. a graduate of South Dearborn High School and received his undergraduate degree from Northern Kentucky University in 1993. He was awarded his Masters in Divinity degree from Trinity Lutheran Seminary in Columbus, OH in 2017.
The congregation of Crossroads is delighted to welcome its new pastor and is confident that he will be a strong faith leader for the church. Pastor Leptak remarked, “I simply want the community to know how profoundly blessed I feel. Our gracious Lord reached out, taking me by the hand in a journey of extraordinary growth, and has led me back home to share that infinite love with others.” He will be relocating from Lawrenceburg to the Batesville area within the next few weeks.
